2026 Fall Events
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AHS MARCHING BAND!
The Apex High School Marching Band gave an amazing performance at the Central North Carolina Band Festival, sweeping their entire class, earning first place for percussion, visual ensemble, drum major, musical, and overall performance, AND winning GRAND CHAMPIONS for Class 3A & 4A!

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES
Join us for Our Next Competition on Saturday, October 24 at Union Pines High School
STUDENTS: CALL TIME IS 11:30AM
The Apex High School Marching Band will take the field in competition at the Viking Classic. Opening ceremonies for the event begin at 12:45pm with the first band performing at 1:00pm. Apex is scheduled to take the field at 6:15pm. Learn more by visiting the Viking Classic website.
All are Invited to our Academic Bands' Fall Concert Thursday, November 5
Please join our academic bands for their fall concert in the Apex High School auditorium on Thursday, November 5 at 7:00pm. Concert Band 1, Concert Band 2, and the Wind Ensemble will all perform music they have been perfecting in their classes this semester. This is a free event and is open to all. Donations to the band are always welcome and appreciated.
Join us for a Special Event with Dallas Brass on Thursday, November 12
Dallas Brass is a world class organization of musicians dedicated to music education and performance. They are coming to Apex High in November to work with our students and the band students from Apex Middle School and Salem Middle School. We will be hosting a concert with them on November 12 at 7:00pm during which they will perform solo for the first half and with the students in the second half.
This special event is open to the public and is a ticketed event - tickets are $15 each.
NOTE: Everyone must purchase a ticket including participating students. We expect the concert to sell out, so be sure to get tickets soon if you haven’t already!
