Recycle your new and gently used sneakers and help save the environment  while supporting the amazing Apex Band program!

Did you know that the EPA estimates 200-300 million pairs of shoes end up in landfills each year, harming our planet?

The APEX HIGH SCHOOL BAND is excited to announce our partnership with GotSneakers, a sneaker recycling organization. Together, we can keep sneakers out of landfills, reduce toxic chemicals in our air and soil, and support our band program.

How can you help?
By donating your new and gently used athletic sneakers and sports cleats, you’ll help us raise funds while also protecting our environment.


Where can you drop off sneakers?

Donations can be dropped off in a box located in the band room during the entire month of February!

Can you donate other types of shoes?

We kindly ask that you do NOT donate any non-athletic footwear, including but not limited to boots, heels, sandals, and dress shoes.

How else can you help?
We will also provide additional drop-off locations at the homes of our band families, which will be updated on our website.
